Beaches

Some of the main attractions in Miami are its lively beaches. With great year-round temperatures, many of the beaches are open and full throughout the year.

Main Miami Beaches

South Beach

South Beach is Miami's most famous beach, a sun kissed paradise and one of the best places in the city to see and be seen.

Bill Baggs State Park

For many the place to spend a perfect day, and for others the best beach in Miami, Bill Baggs is a must-see spot.

Crandon Park Beach

Voted one of the 10 best beaches in the United States, Crandon Park Beach can be found in Biscayne bay, and is our favourite beach in Miami.

Search for Paradise

One of the main comments about Miami is that its beaches aren't like those in the Carribean. It's true, and if you're in the search for paradise beaches, you should rent a car or take a boat to find them.

One option which many choose, is to take advantage of Miami's status as 'world cruise capital' to take a boat to the Bahamas. You can find 4-day itineraries for less than $250 per person, all included

If you prefer to drive, the best beaches in Florida can be found in the Gulf of Mexico, in the western part of the peninsula. Some of these paradise beaches are Sanibel, Sarasota, Naples, Fort Myers and Clearwater.

To get to the West coast, you have to cross the Everglades using route 41, or take the interstate 75 from Fort Lauderdale.
