Miami Airport

Miami Airport

The Miami International Airport (MIA) was founded in 1928, is the main airport in the state, and can be found just 13 km from the centre of Miami.

The Miami international airport is one of the biggest international airports in the USA, after New York's JFK and the Los Angeles International Airport.

And, although there are also direct flights to Europe and beyond, this is also the major link between the United States and Latin America.

Getting to Miami from the Airport

Rental Car

To get around Miami, it's practically essential to have a rental car. So what we recommend is to reserve it ahead of time and pick it up at the airport. You can check out more information here:

Transfer service

If you're not planning to rent a car, the easiest and quickest way to get to your hotel is with a driver who waits for you with a sign bearing your name. You can reserve one of these private transfers clicking here.

Another option is to take a taxi, whose price varies depending on the location of your hotel. To long beach, a normal price would be $40.

The final option is to take a bus. These buses leave from the airport every hour, but the connections leave a little to be desired.
